Art at the VA Hospital: A 365 day-Annual Rotation

Updated: Sep 22, 2024

Teaming up with fellow veterans who are also members of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 1 and the Veterans Arts Council (VAC), I periodically submit my art at the new Rocky Mountain VA Medical Center off 1700 Wheeling Street in Aurora, Colorado. I always submit original work, whether it's traditional work or digital.

My recent work on display is digital, with mediums utilized from a combination of Photoshop and Procreate software, titled "Blimp Castle". This began as a class project, where I had to take a random object themed with or into a castle. However, even after completing the assignment, I couldn't help myself to tweak it a bit more. One of my desires is to take this image and turn it into a children's storybook one of these days, after fulfilling a few missions. Meanwhile, I am selling prints and jigsaw puzzles of my works.
